About IFSC Master

IFSC Master is a free, independent service that helps people in India quickly find and verify the IFSC code, MICR code, branch address and supported transfer methods (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI) of any bank branch in the country.

Why we built this

Moving money online should be simple, but a single wrong character in an IFSC code can delay or misroute a transfer. We built IFSC Master to make checking a code fast, clear, and trustworthy — with no clutter, no sign-up, and no cost.

What makes us different

• We stay current with bank mergers. Between 2017 and 2020, many Indian banks were merged and their customers were given new IFSC codes. A lot of code-lookup sites still list banks that no longer exist. We track these changes so you don't transfer money using a dead code.
• Plain, honest information. Our explanations are written in clear English, not copied or auto-generated.
• Verification first. You can confirm any code in seconds before you rely on it.

We work hard to keep our information correct, but bank details can change. For any transaction, we always recommend confirming your IFSC code with your own bank — through your passbook, cheque, or official banking app — before sending money.
